This piece was made in collaboration with painter, Catherine Giglio. We were part of a group exhibit centered around the idea of “grace.” Cat took some of my plywood offcuts and painted them with her ethereal style. Then I composed her painted pieces with some of my usual plywood pieces, dying some as necessary. I gave it back to Cat and she added the tacks and hemp. I haven’t participated in many collaborations, but I love how this piece turned out. Go team!
