This 17” x 17” blue hand dyed handwoven linen pillow was made using a weft ikat technique where the dye placement on the yarn creates the relaxed square pattern as the fabric is being woven. The weave structure is a twill pattern that creates a diagonal movement within the fabric that plays against subtle blue stripes within the dyed linen. The pillow is backed with a coordinating blue hand dyed linen/rayon blend fabric. It is finished with an invisible zipper and stuffed with a 10% goose down/90% feather pillow insert.
