27” x 3” x 3” Maple plywood, brass, hand dyed linen. HooDoos 7, 8, & 9 are all made from the offcuts of table legs in the style of the Blood and Water Hall Table. I challenged myself to make 3 different sculptures using the same parts. HooDoo9 features a pattern of brass brad nails and linen yarn I dyed pink and orange. The linen is wrapped corset-style around the brads in a zig zag that gets more dense as it descends. On the side opposite the brads and linen, you get a panoply of horizontal stripes.
