Nancy's Knitting Needle Cabinet
Dyed Baltic birch plywood, dyed handwoven cotton, brass hinges
2007, commissioned
This cabinet was created to house all sizes of knitting needles, with drawers on all 4 sides and a lid on top
under which lies a segmented tray that can be removed to reveal a cloth-lined secret compartment for
stashing yarn. The whole thing spins on a lazy-susan base for accessibility of all sides.
