Sonoma Table

Dyed Baltic birch plywood, dyed and woven cotton, copper, glass
Photographed by Jafe Parsons

This commissioned breakfast table features tapered shapes in the center that reference redwood trees as you stand on the forest floor and look up. The vertical edges of these shapes are clad in copper. And the spaces between the shapes are covered with my hand dyed handwoven cotton fabric. A sheet of glass sits on top of the table to protect the interior. This piece was made to coordinate and cohabit with the Sonoma Desk, Sonoma Cabinet, and Sonoma Sofa.
