Hand dyed, handwoven cotton fabric, dyed Baltic birch plywood, upholstery foam

I made this tuffet because I thought the little tuffet design needed to be super sized. I happened to have a big length of fabric that I had woven just for the heck of it and I used most of it up in this guy. When I dye and weave lengths of cloth for the heck of it, I like to change up the color combinations. And the areas where the different colorways merge are my favorites. I made sure to place the color transition areas in the center of this piece. Some good friends of mine bought this and use it daily.
