This little sculpture is the sixth in a series of “fun sized” abstract sculptures. These are for people who are looking for inexpensive pieces to start or add to their contemporary art collection. Hoo Doos are named after the eroded stone shapes of the same name, found in Colorado and Utah, among other places outside of the US. Like the wall pieces I make, these are made from offcuts and scraps leftover from other projects. These little sculptures are playgrounds for toying with color, texture, and mixed materials. I have to say, Hoo Doos are ridiculously fun to make.
